Treatment Options

Traditional Metal Braces

The most common type of braces is traditional metal braces. These stainless steel braces are not the same ones from back in the day.  Today's braces are sleeker, much more comfortable, and highly effective at orthodontic movements. More importantly, they can be decorated with fun colors every time you come in.

Clear (Ceramic) Braces

For patients looking for a more esthetic option, clear ceramic braces are a great option.  They give you the benefits of traditional metal braces, without the obviousness of wearing braces.

Phase I appliances and retainers

In young children who are not yet dentally ready for full treatment, but have tooth or jaw misalignments that could be harmful, there can be situations in which early orthodontic intervention is necessary.   Some of these early interventions include maxillary expanders, bite plates, headgear, retainers, and a short course of front braces.

Clear aligners

Clear aligners such as Invisalign are a series of clear, removable trays that straighten teeth.  They are highly esthetic and oral hygiene can be maintained easily. Adult patients and patients who have undergone orthodontic treatment prior, tend to favor this option the most!
